There are 22 districts in the state. Sirsa (4,277sq km) is the largest district of the state in the terms of area where as Faridabad (743 k) is the smallest district. The shape of state is similar to the uneven quadrilateral whose latitudinal and longitudinal expansion is 30 x 30.
